Interesting facts: Why did you decide to take part in Big Brother?

I decided to take part in Big Brother because it is the ultimate social experiment. I’m really good at being social and I think we’re getting caught in our own echo chambers – I know that I definitely am. I think it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It just looks like fun and I love fun!

You’re entering a House where friendships, alliances and rivalries have already formed, do you think you’ll shake things up?

I am not in there to cause trouble but my greatest skill in life is being able to bring people together. I have been fabulously and famously late to every party I’ve ever been to so this feels quite correct. I’m also very nervous because I’ve never been the new girl at school so it is going to be hard.

I think people will be suspicious of me. I know that I’m a big character and I don’t think people are going to think I’m necessarily genuine or authentic off the bat – I’m going to have to earn their trust. I’m going in there with cheeky, fun, light, joyful energy rather than to cause trouble – I’m not that kind of troublemaker. I’m a professional party starter so that is what I would like to bring to the House. And hopefully try and mend some rifts – get everyone laughing and dancing together!

What do you think will be the biggest challenge about joining the House at this stage?

I think the biggest challenge will be earning people’s trust. I think people might think I’m a mole or I have an agenda. They’ve done three weeks that I haven’t been privy to. It’s going to be tough being the new girl at school. I’m good at entering a room and winning people over, I hope! They’ve been in there a while, they need some entertainment and fresh blood.

What do you think you’ll bring to the House that’s currently missing?

I’m the ultimate hype girl, I’m going to bring a lot of team talks – I love a pep talk. I think I’m going to bring a bit of motivation. I really hope that I bring a bit of joy, whimsy, levity and fun!

Do you think you’ll be more of a peacemaker or someone who gets involved when there’s drama?

I love a bit of salacious gossip but light-hearted gossip. I really am a mediator, a mother and a sorter. I want everyone to love each other and have a nice time. I think I’ll be a peacekeeper. I won’t be a drama creator but I could see how I would get pulled into it and I really don’t want to get pulled into it.

You’ve had three weeks to watch the Housemates from the outside – Is there anyone you’re particularly excited to meet?

I’m excited to meet Rob and Sam – I think that’s where you’ll find me. I’m a silly goose in high glam. I really have no interest in talking shit behind people’s backs or being shouted at. I do not want to be shouted at. I just want to sing some show tunes!

Is there anyone you’re slightly apprehensive about meeting?

I’m apprehensive about meeting the more mature members of the House from what I’ve seen. We’ve got a lot of youngers in there and I tend to go into big sis, mummy mode with youngers. I’m surprised at the more mature members of the House.
